Job summary

Motorola Solutions, a global leader in mission-critical communications, seeks a Federal Project Manager to support DoD initiatives with flexible remote work across the United States.

The role leads cross-functional teams, manages full project lifecycles, and ensures delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Travel 50%+ and security clearance are required.

Responsibilities include creating SOWs, coordinating vendors, and delivering compliant solutions for government clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in PM, engineering, gov/public safety.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Willing to travel 50%+ across the continental U.S.
• Experience delivering government contracts.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Leads cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade systems.
• Directs the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
• Ensures delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Drafts SOWs, change orders, and bids for system integration.
• Manages vendor and subcontractor performance and schedules.
• Maintains cost controls and revenue tracking.
• Prepares progress reports and executive presentations.
• Drives stakeholder communications and status reviews.
• Applies PM frameworks to maximize efficiency and guide teams.
