Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to support DoD initiatives from a remote location in the United States. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage the full lifecycle, and ensure delivery within schedule and budget while maintaining high quality.

Strong experience with government contracts and IT communications is essential. The role requires 50%+ domestic travel and eligibility for DHS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years in LMR, engineering, PM, government, or public safety.
• PMI PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Experience delivering government contracts and public sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade systems.
• Direct full project lifecycle from initiation to handoff with performance metrics.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery meeting quality standards.
• Draft SOWs, manage subcontractors, and negotiate outcomes.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, and equipment inventory.
• Prepare technical proposals, change orders, and bids.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
