Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to join the Federal Division. The role supports DoD initiatives with flexible remote work across the United States and requires 50%+ domestic travel.

You will oversee deployment, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the full project lifecycle from design reviews to testing and delivery. Ideal candidates possess PMP certification, government contract experience, and strong communication and financial oversight skills.

Qualifications

• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience deploying IT comms systems for government/public safety.
• Experience administering government and public sector contracts.
• Background in project leadership roles and advanced PM disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees deployment and implementation of Motorola products and services.
• Leads cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade systems.
• Manages end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to handoff.
• Ensures on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Drafts SOWs, negotiates PO outcomes, and coordinates installation.
