Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to support DoD initiatives. The role offers flexible remote work from anywhere in the United States with proximity to an airport and requires 50%+ domestic travel.

You will oversee deployment, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years in LMR/Engineering/PM/Technical Services/Govt/Public Safety.
• Experience deploying and managing IT comms systems in complex environments.
• Ability to secure DHS Public Trust clearance and travel up to 50% across the continental US.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade systems.
• Direct project lifecycle from initiation to handoff with metrics oversight.
• Ensure delivery within timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Draft SOWs, manage vendor/subcontractor performance and procurement outcomes.
• Prepare documentation for internal reviews and customer updates.
