Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to support DoD initiatives. The role offers flexible remote work within the United States with proximity to a major airport and requires 50%+ travel domestically.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with contract specifications. A PMP and government contracting experience are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, or 5+ years in LMR, Engineering, Project Management, Technical Services, Government, Military or Public Safety.
• U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance; DHS Public Trust clearance required.
• Experience delivering government/public sector contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and executive presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex, remote projects with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with Google Suite and MS Office, including Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrades.
• Direct the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
• Ensure delivery within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Draft SOWs, change orders, and bids for system integration.
• Monitor budgets, revenue goals, and equipment inventory.
• Participate in reviews and status meetings with stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for internal and external updates.
