Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Federal Project Manager to support DoD initiatives with a remote-friendly setup across the United States and significant travel. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage the full project lifecycle, and ensure contractual compliance, timelines, and budgets.

The role requires strong project management, experience with government contracts, and the ability to secure DHS-type clearances. A PMP is strongly preferred for candidates with the right background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in LMR, engineering, project management, government, or public safety.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience deploying IT communication systems for government/public sector contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Leads cross-functional teams for new solutions or upgrades.
• Manages full project lifecycle from initiation to handoff; monitors performance metrics.
• Ensures on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Drafts SOWs, change orders, and bids for system integration.
• Engages in reviews and status meetings; communicates progress to stakeholders.
• Prepares comprehensive documentation for internal/external updates.
