Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to join the Federal Division. The role supports DoD initiatives with flexible remote work across the United States and travel of 50% or more.

You will oversee deployment, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to close. The candidate should have PMP or equivalent experience, strong contract management background, and be capable of navigating government procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in LMR, engineering, PM, technical services, government, military, or public safety.
• US work authorization; DHS clearance eligibility and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience deploying IT communication systems and government contracts.
• Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record leading remote project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment and implementation of Motorola products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade existing systems.
• Direct project lifecycle from initiation to handoff with metrics.
• Ensure on-time, within budget delivery meeting quality standards.
• Draft SOWs, change orders, and bids for system integration.
• Manage financials including budgets and revenue goals.
• Monitor equipment inventory and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare documentation for internal and client updates.
• Conduct project reviews and stakeholder communications.
• Apply project management frameworks to maximize efficiency.
• Inspire teams to achieve high performance.
• Support strategic plans and new business opportunities.
