Job summary

SMX is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. The role focuses on planning, execution, and stakeholder management to deliver on mission objectives on a remote team with minimal travel.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience in IT/financial system implementations, deep SAP ERP and SAC familiarity, and must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager leading complex IT or financial system implementations.
Proven experience managing SAP ERP implementation and upgrade projects with strong PM skills.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage the full lifecycle of the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation project, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Serve as the primary liaison between federal client stakeholders, SMX teams, and vendors to ensure alignment of project goals.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, outline tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
