Job summary

SMX is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. Remote role with minimal travel, requiring Public Trust clearance and US citizenship.

You will manage the full project lifecycle, coordinate a cross-functional team, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in complex IT/financial implementations, SAP ERP experience, and a solid understanding

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance or related field.
10+ years leading complex IT or financial system implementations.
Proven SAP ERP implementation/upgrade experience.
Experience delivering projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
Strong knowledge of PM lifecycle and PMP/Agile/Hybrid.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication; US citizenship & ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

Lead full project lifecycle: planning, execution, stakeholder management, delivery.
Serve as primary client liaison ensuring alignment with SMX goals.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with timelines and resources.
Proactively manage risks and mitigation strategies.
Maintain understanding of SAC and BAS solution to guide execution.
Coordinate cross-functional team and external vendors.
Provide regular status reports on progress, risks, and finances.
