Job summary

SMX is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal client. The role focuses on planning, execution, stakeholder management, and delivering a cutting-edge SAP Analytics Cloud-based solution.

You will steer a cross‑functional team of analysts, data engineers, and architects, ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery, and maintain strict security and compliance as a US citizen with a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of Project Manager experience leading complex IT or financial system implementations.
• Proven SAP ERP implementation and upgrade project experience.
• Experience managing projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Knowledge of PMP, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication, with ability to influence stakeholders.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of the CFO BAS implementation project from initiation to closure.
• Serve as primary client liaison for planning, risk, and governance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with timelines and resources.
• Oversee SAP Analytics Cloud-based planning and reporting aspects.
• Direct cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, and solution architects.
• Provide regular status reports on progress, risks, and budget.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and meet security protocols.
