Job summary

SMX is seeking a Federal Financial Business Analyst to join the client service delivery team. You will partner with federal stakeholders to analyze complex budgeting and planning data, improve processes, and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decisions.

The role is 100% remote with minimal travel (<20%) and requires a Public Trust clearance. You will work with a cross-functional team of budget SMEs, designers, and developers to roll out our BAS solution for federal customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in federal financial management or process analysis.
• Experience with federal government data and processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
