Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Federal & Government Account Executive to grow its US public-sector business in Washington, DC, including remote work. You will own opportunities from first engagement through award, building relationships with agency decision-makers and contracting officers.

You'll lead demonstrations, evaluations and negotiations with technical teams, develop a strong federal pipeline, and represent the company at government and cybersecurity events.

Qualifications

• Proven cybersecurity sales experience within the US federal market.
• Established relationships across federal agencies.
• Strong understanding of federal procurement and contracting processes.
• Experience with GSA, SEWP, ITES, OTAs or similar vehicles.
• Track record of closing complex, multi-year public-sector deals.
• Ability to generate pipeline and develop new agency relationships.
• Experience selling threat intelligence, dark-web intelligence, EASM, or adjacent solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across federal civilian agencies, DoD and the Intelligence Community
• Own complex government opportunities from initial engagement through contract award
• Build relationships with agency decision-makers, contracting officers and technical stakeholders
• Develop partnerships with federal systems integrators and prime contractors
• Navigate government procurement frameworks and contracting vehicles
• Lead demonstrations, evaluations and commercial negotiations alongside technical teams
• Build and maintain an accurate federal pipeline
• Represent the company at government and cybersecurity events
