Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee a 45–55 location Cap X remodel and preventative maintenance program. This remote role covers a wide territory and requires strong contractor/vendor management, problem solving, and collaboration with restaurant operators and IT for evolving scope.

You will travel about 75% of the time, coordinating emergency projects and large ROI PM programs while ensuring brand standards and accurate forecasts with finance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive facilities maintenance experience supporting multiple locations.
• Strong negotiation, networking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, bids, and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel. Smartsheet and CMX-1 experience preferred.
• HVAC and OSHA certifications preferred.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with restaurant operators and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities and Cap X remodel program for all 45-55 locations.
• Emergency Projects (fires, car strikes, theft, store closures)
• Manage preventative maintenance program for assigned locations.
• Must be proficient in negotiating, networking, and critical thinking skills.
• Communicate educational material to operators on building components.
• Cap X - Manage Cap X remodel program and replacement account purchases.
• Allocating monthly / quarterly schedules with operations
• Managing multiple project bids and contracts with contractors and vendors.
• Reporting to accounting and finance to ensure accurate forecasts. Monthly calls.
• Manage construction vendors in brand standard and QC on remodel projects.
• PM program (large ROI)
• Manage RTU and exhaust hood PM programs.
• Manage water heater and ice machine PM program.
• Special projects (I.E. digital kitchen/recipes)
• Team with IT for evolving scope.
