Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and capital remodels across 45-55 restaurant locations. The role requires hands-on leadership, cross-functional collaboration with operators and IT, and a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

This remote position covers Central and East Tennessee with regular travel to Houston, TX. You will oversee preventive maintenance, contractor management, and Cap X programs while driving cost controls and operational

• Manage facilities and Cap X remodel program for all 45-55 locations.
• Oversee Emergency Projects (fires, car strikes, theft, store closures).
• Manage preventative maintenance program for assigned locations.
• Negotiate, network and manage multiple contractors and vendors.
• Communicate educational material to operators on building components.
• Oversee Cap X remodel program and replacement account purchases with scheduling and vendor management.

Why This Role Rocks

As a Facilities Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping 45-55 restaurant locations operating at their best. You’ll partner closely with restaurant operators while overseeing facilities needs, preventative maintenance, capital remodels, emergency projects, and special initiatives across your region. This is a hands‑on, highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple projects, and making a visible impact across the business.

This is a remote position that covers a territory that includes Central and East Tennessee (Nashville, Knoxville, Johnson City, Murfreesboro, etc) with monthly travel to Houston, Texas.

This role has a 75% travel expectation and is on‑call 24/7.

Your Recipe for Success

• High school diploma or GED required
• Extensive facilities maintenance experience supporting multiple locations
• Strong negotiation, networking, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, bids, and multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel. Smartsheet and CMX-1 experience preferred
• HVAC and OSHA certifications preferred
• Ability to build strong partnerships with restaurant operators and cross‑functional teams

What’s On Your Plate

• Manage facilities and Cap X remodel program for all 45-55 locations.
• Emergency Projects (fires, car strikes, theft, store closures)
• Manage preventative maintenance program for assigned locations.
• Must be proficient in negotiating, networking, and critical thinking skills.
• Communicate educational material to operators on building components.
• Cap X - Manage Cap X remodel program and replacement account purchases.
  • Allocating monthly / quarterly schedules with operations
  • Managing multiple project bids and contracts with contractors and vendors.
  • Reporting to accounting and finance to ensure accurate forecasts. Monthly calls.
  • Manage construction vendors in brand standard and QC on remodel projects.
• PM program (large ROI)
  • Manage RTU and exhaust hood PM programs.
  • Manage water heater and ice machine PM program.
• Special projects (I.E. digital kitchen/recipes)
  • Team with IT for evolving scope.
