Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant for a remote US-based role. You will design, configure, and implement healthcare product and benefit plans within the Facets platform, collaborating with payer teams to deliver compliant benefit solutions that support claims adjudication and member experiences.

In this role you will analyze requirements, design benefit structures, configure components, and validate outcomes, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years in healthcare payer space with 4+ years configuring Facets Product and Benefits.
• Deep knowledge of benefit design: copays, deductibles, out-of-pocket max, accumulators, network variations.
• Understanding of how configuration affects claims adjudication, pricing, eligibility, and membership processing.
• Experience documenting requirements, designing solutions, performing configuration analysis, and supporting testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into Facets Product and Benefits configurations.
• Design benefit structures, accumulators, cost-sharing models, coverage tiers, and network rules.
• Configure and validate Facets components ensuring quality and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess impacts across claims, pricing, and eligibility.
• Develop test scenarios and validate outcomes for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and max out-of-pocket.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Support production implementations and benefit updates.
