Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product and Benefits Consultant to design, configure, and implement healthcare products on the Facets platform. This remote US role collaborates with payers to deliver compliant benefit solutions and accurate claims adjudication.

Responsibilities span requirements analysis, benefit design, configuration, testing, and cross-functional coordination to ensure scalable implementations and timely production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Facets Product and Benefits configuration.
• Strong expertise in healthcare benefit design and network variations.
• Experience documenting requirements and supporting end-to-end testing.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid payers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into Facets configurations.
• Design benefit structures, accumulators, copays, and network rules.
• Configure and validate Facets components for quality and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess impacts across claims, pricing, networks, and eligibility.
• Develop test scenarios and validate claim outcomes for deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and OOP maxes.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement sustainable resolutions.
• Support production implementations and post-launch stabilization.
