Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product & Benefits Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement healthcare product configurations within the Facets platform. This remote-US role collaborates with analysts, claims teams, product owners, and tech stakeholders to deliver scalable benefit solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience with Facets configuration.
• Strong expertise in Facets configuration, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of benefit design (copays, deductibles, maxs).
• Translate business needs into scalable configuration solutions.
• Understand relationship between configuration, claims, pricing and networks.
• Experience in end-to-end testing, defect resolution and production validation.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Business/Healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and regulations to design Facets configurations.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets components for benefits and claims.
• Assess impacts across memberships, pricing, accumulators and networks.
• Develop configuration docs, mapping artifacts and logs.
• Create and execute testing scenarios for benefit logic (deductibles, copays, coinsurance, OOP).
• Troubleshoot defects and implement sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for launches and changes.
