Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking an experienced underwriter to drive profitable business from a select group of brokers, focusing on enterprise clients (~$1B+ revenue). You will underwrite and manage products across Coalition’s portfolio while partnering with our Sales team to protect businesses from digital risk.

This senior role supports a remote opportunity across the Western US with a preference for Southern California, requiring travel for executive broker engagements and market leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of underwriting experience in cyber and Technology E&O.
• Experience underwriting large/enterprise accounts (~$1B+ revenue).
• Ability to analyze complex cyber risks and portfolio impact.
• Ability to craft solutions and explain rationale at senior levels.
• Strong strategic thinking linking accounts to portfolio objectives.
• Mentoring underwriters and elevating underwriting standards.
• Proven capability to lead broker and client conversations at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage Coalition’s largest and most complex accounts.
• Shape portfolio strategy through broker relationship management for big accounts.
• Maintain disciplined underwriting files and use internal tools.
• Lead complex pricing, terms, and exception negotiations with CPU.
• Represent underwriting to brokers, strategic clients, and senior leadership.
• Mentor underwriters and raise underwriting standards.
• Participate in cross-functional strategy on portfolio evolution and growth.
• Collaborate with security, claims, product, and actuarial teams on risk issues.
• Travel regularly for senior broker relationship management and meetings.
