Job summary

Coalition, Inc. is seeking an experienced Underwriter to drive profitable business from assigned brokers and partner with our Sales organization.

You will underwrite and manage products across Coalition’s portfolio while serving as a trusted partner to brokers and clients, bringing together underwriting expertise and a relationship-first approach. This remote role can be based anywhere in the Southeast region, preferably Texas, with regular travel for broker management, client meetings, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience, including cyber and Technology E&O risks.
• Ability to analyze complex cyber and technology risks for underwriting, pricing, structure and profitability.
• Ability to combine underwriting expertise with broker and client needs to craft solutions.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills with executive-facing conversations.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of new and renewal accounts at greater scale and complexity.
• Own senior and specialty broker relationships and engage in client-facing activity for large accounts.
• Maintain underwriting files and governance standards.
• Lead discussions on coverage, endorsements, and non-standard structures.
• Mentor fellow underwriters and support deal strategy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Claims, CPU and security teams to improve outcomes.
• Shape local underwriting practices and escalation standards.
• Travel regularly for broker management and client meetings.
