Job summary

Revecore is seeking an Event Setup Specialist to process incoming medical provider data and manage patient records in AcciClaim. You will identify leads, enter new information, and determine next steps based on contracts and state requirements.

You will interact with data in paper, fax, and electronic formats, ensure QA standards, and handle confidential information with care. Remote work from home is available for eligible US residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to type 35 WPM with minimal errors.
• Effective communication with internal customers.
• Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method.
• Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently with minimal errors.
• Reliable, dependable and trustworthy with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of MRA departments and required information.
• Ability to alter workflow per client contractual and state requirements.
• Familiarity with auto and health payers and patient accounting hierarchy.
• Adaptability to different levels of abstraction (big picture to detail).
• Proficiency with computer functions including the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn new systems.
• Comfort with office tech (printer, scanner, postage machines, scales, mail sorters, in-house systems).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming data and identify leads and key information for the event.
• Enter relevant new information into the patient record.
• Synthesize information and determine additional data needed and next steps.
• Interact with data in paper, fax, and electronic formats.
• Consistently meet production standards and QA requirements.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidential information and protect PHI.
• Do not access confidential data not related to job duties.
• Do not disclose PHI in violation of law.
