Job summary

Cosmo is hiring tutors for their online learning platform to teach ESL students based in Asia. As a tutor, you'll have a flexible schedule, providing personalized 1-on-1 lessons. You are expected to prepare lesson materials, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism during classes.

The ideal candidate should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of teaching experience in K-12, and a passion for helping students learn. This independent contractor role offers a base rate of $20 USD per class with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App timely.
• Prepare lesson materials appropriate for the student’s ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and professionally.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
