Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia. As a tutor, you will conduct 1-on-1 lessons with a flexible schedule, teaching subjects like math, ELA, and SAT. The base rate is $20 per hour, with opportunities for additional incentives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of teaching experience, and communicates professionally with students and parents. A reliable internet connection and the ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours weekly are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
