Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia during flexible hours. As a tutor, you will conduct 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons, providing a supportive learning environment while helping students grow academically.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 education, specifically ELA, ESL, or EFL. A fast internet connection and availability of 20 hours weekly is essential for this independent contractor position.

The base pay is $20 USD per hour with incentives and bonuses available.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App.
• Prepare lesson materials for students.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
