Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist to remotely oversee escrow processes, reconcile mortgage insurance premiums, and place escrow stops on refinanced loans. The role requires 3–4 years in banking/finance/mortgage or escrow, plus strong Excel and mortgage servicing system experience.

You will reconcile FHA/PMI/USDA payments, coordinate with vendors, and prepare data for monthly business reviews, with a starting pay of $22.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Experience with mortgage servicing/loan origination systems.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage complex escrow issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loans with mortgage insurance and reconcile monthly premiums.
• Boarding, reconciliation and escrow stops for refinances as needed.
• Independent oversight of loans with active mortgage insurance (FHA/MIP/USDA).
• Reconcile and bulk transfer monthly payments for FHA/PMI/USDA.
• Escalate complex escrow issues and report findings to management.
• Support management with data compilation for monthly reviews.
