Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Sr. Escrow Oversight Specialist to support our remote team from home. You will oversee loans with mortgage insurance premiums, reconcile and pay millions in premiums monthly, and escalate complex escrow issues with leadership.

You'll bring 3–4 years in banking/finance/mortgage, familiarity with FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, and other servicing systems, and strong math and Excel skills. This role offers competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing and loan originations systems FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase.
• 3–4 years banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform Escrow Liaison Level II in addition to Senior duties.
• Strong communication and deadline management.
• Strong math skills and accuracy; capable of guiding junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loans with active mortgage insurance (FHA/MIP/USDA).
• Reconcile and process monthly payments for FHA/PMI/USDA.
• Coordinate with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Stop escrow disbursements on loans pending refinance.
• Generate data points for daily/weekly tasking and monthly reviews.
• Quality control review for junior staff and report findings.
• Escalate complex escrow issues to leadership with recommended solutions.
