Job summary

Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking an Equity Administrator to manage grant approvals, cap table records, and equity-related processes. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership to ensure accurate transactions and compliant reporting.

You will drive process improvements, resolve discrepancies, and use AI tools responsibly to support the equity program as Huntress scales globally from a remote US base.

Qualifications

• Experience administering an equity program in Carta and managing awards.
• Understanding stock options and other equity awards and employee lifecycles.
• Experience reconciling equity records with payroll, accounting, and approved data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and discretion with sensitive financial and legal information.
• Ability to explain complex equity topics clearly to non-experts.
• Proven ability to work across Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cap table and equity award records in Carta, including grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, and departures.
• Coordinate grant approvals, documentation, and transaction workflows with Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership.
• Reconcile Carta records against payroll data and accounting records, investigate discrepancies.
• Support equity-related reporting, audits, valuations, and board materials.
• Answer employee questions about equity awards with clarity and discretion.
• Build and maintain procedures, controls, and process improvements as the program grows.
• Use AI tools to improve speed and accuracy of drafting, research, and record review while protecting confidential data.
