Job summary

Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking an Equity Administrator to own private-company equity operations from grant approval to final employee transactions. You will manage cap table records in Carta, oversee grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, and departures, while collaborating with Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership to ensure accurate, compliant records.

You bring hands-on Carta experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate equity

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering an equity program in Carta.
• Experience reconciling equity records with payroll, accounting data.
• Ability to explain equity topics clearly to non-experts.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cap table and equity award records in Carta; grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, departures.
• Coordinate grant approvals and transaction workflows with Legal, Finance, People, payroll, leadership.
• Reconcile Carta with payroll and accounting; resolve discrepancies.
• Support equity reporting, audits, valuations, board materials, and time-sensitive needs.
• Assist employees with equity questions; provide clear, discreet guidance.
• Develop procedures, controls, and process improvements for the program.
