Huntress is seeking an Equity Administrator to oversee equity governance for a remote-first organization. You will manage the cap table, grant workflows, and reporting across Legal, Finance, and People, ensuring accurate records and compliant transactions.

You will reconcile data, respond to employee inquiries, and implement scalable processes. The role emphasizes discretion, attention to detail, and collaboration with leadership to support growth while using AI judiciously.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience administering an equity program in Carta.
• Understanding stock options and other equity awards and related reports.
• Experience reconciling equity records against payroll, accounting, and grants.
• Exceptional attention to detail and discretion with sensitive data.
• Ability to explain complex equity topics clearly to non-experts.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across Legal, Finance, People, and leadership.
• Use AI tools judiciously to improve speed and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cap table and equity award records in Carta, including grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, and departures.
• Coordinate grant approvals, documentation, and transaction workflows with Legal, Finance, People, payroll, and leadership.
• Reconcile Carta with payroll data and accounting records, investigate discrepancies.
• Support equity-related reporting, audits, valuations, board materials, and time-sensitive needs.
• Answer employee questions about equity awards with clarity and discretion.
• Develop clear procedures, controls, and improvements as the program grows.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate routine drafting, research, and record review while protecting data.
