Job summary

enGen is seeking a highly motivated Epic OpTime Analyst to join our combined Epic OpTime and Anesthesia team. You will configure, roll out, and support Epic OpTime and related modules, collaborating with clinical staff to translate needs into analytical solutions and participating in upgrades and implementations.

The role requires 3 years of Epic module administration experience, with Epic OpTime certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months.
• Epic OpTime certification preferred but not required.
• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Epic OpTime Systems Analyst experience OR experience with ORIS/PIS management
• 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for the periop departments, leveraging the Epic OpTime module.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to understand their needs and translate those needs into effective analytical solutions within Epic OpTime.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation processes related to Epic OpTime.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of perioperative/surgical areas.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
• Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements, and supports the needs of Epic software.
• Analyzes and determines system requirements and specifications. Performs and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience.
• Uses knowledge of Epic, configures changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows.
• Contributes to and manages small to medium projects independently.
• Conducts problem-solving and root cause analysis to resolve routine to moderately complex problems.
