Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks Epic MyChart specialists to join our EHR Services team. You will implement, upgrade and support Epic MyChart workflows, collaborating with leadership and end users.

This role offers nationwide remote work with Minneapolis-area staff expected to work in the office four days per week. Requires Epic MyChart certification, 2+ years Epic experience, on-call after hours, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Active Epic certification in MyChart.
• 2+ years of experience with Epic implementation and/or support.
• Must participate in on-call after hours rotation (approximately 1 week every 2–3 months).
• Must participate in projects/upgrades requiring after hours availability as business needs dictate.
• Willing/able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Epic MyChart including design, building, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to design and configure solutions, including workflow analysis and application configuration.
• Lead design and validation sessions with thorough documentation and issue escalation.
• Maintain system documentation and build records.
• Monitor production applications and respond to incidents, including on-call support as needed.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications; manage system updates and testing.
• Build and maintain relationships with end users, stakeholders, and partners.
