Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum EHR Services seeks a certified Epic MyChart professional to design, build, test, and implement MyChart solutions. This role partners with leadership and end users to configure workflows and provide clinical and technical guidance.

The position supports multiple upgrade initiatives, maintains documentation, participates in on-call rotations, and requires travel up to 25%. Remote work is allowed nationwide with onsite four days weekly for the Minneapolis area.

Qualifications

Active Epic certification in MyChart.
2+ years of Epic implementation and/or support.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time as business needs dictate.
Must participate in on-call after hours rotation.
Experience with upgrades and project coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise in Epic MyChart, including design, building, testing, and implementation.
Collaborate with leadership and end users to design and configure solutions.
Lead design and validation sessions with thorough documentation and issue escalation.
Maintain system documentation, build records, and perform release testing.
Monitor production apps and participate in 24/7 on-call support as needed.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manage updates.
Ensure change-control compliance and build strong end-user relationships.
