Job summary

Optum is seeking an Epic MyChart Analyst to design, test, and implement MyChart solutions. You will work with clinical and IT teams to translate requirements into reliable configurations while supporting upgrades and changes.

Remote work is allowed nationwide with in-office requirements in the Minneapolis area four days a week for local hires. The role requires Epic MyChart certification and 2+ years of Epic experience, plus after-hours on-call and 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Active Epic certification in MyChart.
• 2+ years of experience with Epic implementation and/or support.
• Must participate in on-call after hours rotation.
• Must be willing/able to travel up to 25% of the time as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Epic MyChart, including system design, building, testing, and implementation
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to design and configure solutions, providing technical and clinical consultation, including workflow analysis and application configuration to support enhancements and issue resolution
• Participate in multiple small to medium-scale Epic upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements through multiple project phases
• Lead design and validation sessions, ensuring thorough documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation
• Maintain system documentation, including design specifications and build records
• Monitor production applications and respond to incidents, including participation in 24/7 on-call support as needed
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications; manage system updates, enhancements, and release testing
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for system configuration and change control
