Job summary

Optum's EHR Services team is seeking a qualified professional to provide subject matter expertise in Epic MyChart, oversee configurations, testing, and upgrades, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the U.S. The role supports on-call after hours rotations and occasional travel up to 25% to meet business needs.

You will partner with leadership and end users to design, implement, and optimize Epic MyChart workflows, while ensuring documentation, training materials, and change

Qualifications

• Active Epic certification in MyChart.
• 2+ years of Epic implementation or support.
• On-call after hours rotation (~1 week every 2-3 months).
• Willing to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Participation in projects/upgrades requiring after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Epic MyChart including design, build, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to design and configure solutions, providing technical and clinical consultation.
• Lead design and validation sessions with thorough documentation and issue escalation.
• Monitor production applications and participate in 24/7 on-call support as needed.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications; manage system updates and release testing.
• Ensure compliance with organizational change control standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with end users and stakeholders.
