Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Senior BI/Analytics Administrator to configure, monitor, and maintain BI platforms, ensuring secure and compliant analytics content. You will mentor junior staff, manage BI lifecycle, and collaborate across time zones in a fully remote environment.

The role requires Epic Cogito certifications and 5–7 years in Epic BI tools, with remote work options from preferred states IL, WI, NC, GA. A CS degree or related experience is required.

Qualifications

• Epic Cogito certifications required or accredited
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience with Epic Cogito and BI tools
• Experience with Epic Cogito Systems, project management, communications, and auditing
• Typically 5–7 years of Epic applications and BI tools experience
• Remote locations preferred in IL, WI, NC, GA
• Fully Remote role from listed states; no visa sponsorship expected
• Team player with customer service focus and healthcare systems interest
• Familiarity with 3rd party BI tools and administration
• Knowledge of hardware and software fundamentals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and productivity tools
• Ability to manage and monitor projects and milestones
• Travel outside the workplace may be required
• Operates equipment to perform the job
• Normal office environment familiarity

Responsibilities

• Independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers.
• Monitor BI tools and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor usage to ensure content created by developers adheres to policies and best practices; train users on BI tools.
• Provide on-call and maintenance support for BI/reporting systems; manage upgrades and security changes.
• Manage access provisioning in accordance with policy; simplify security configuration over time.
• Oversee lifecycle of analytics content, audit new content, avoid duplication, retire content as needed.
• Independently manage project work using appropriate tools and methods.
• Stay informed about healthcare, EHR and BI trends to drive innovation.
• Mentor junior team members in BI/reporting administration.
