Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI/Analytics professional to manage analytical platforms and BI tooling in a remote-capable role across the United States. You will monitor systems, ensure policy compliance, and mentor junior analysts while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires Epic Cogito expertise, substantial BI tool experience, and strong communication skills. Remote work is supported from eligible states, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience with Epic Cogito and/or BI tools.
• Epic Cogito certifications preferred and required within 5 months of starting first Epic class.
• 5–7 years of experience in Epic applications and Business Intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently configure, test, monitor, and maintain analytical and operational BI platforms, systems, and servers to meet operational needs.
• Monitor analytical and operational BI tools and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide support for BI/reporting systems, including maintenance, upgrades, security changes, testing, license provisioning, issue resolution, and project go-lives.
• Apply security changes to BI/reporting systems and manage access per policy.
• Manage analytics content lifecycle, auditing, usage monitoring, and content retirement.
• Document tasks per industry standards and monitor projects using appropriate tools.
• Stay informed about healthcare environment, EHR and BI technology trends and mentor junior staff.
