Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an Applications Analyst II to design, develop, implement, and support IT applications that power healthcare operations. The role involves working remotely with possible travel to Massachusetts for go-lives and upgrades, and leading small to medium projects with oversight.

You will collaborate with end users, tailor systems to business needs, and build documentation, training, and test scenarios. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, finance, clinical field, or related field and four (4) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of application functionality by working with senior staff and training materials.
• Collaborate with end users to understand and define requirements.
• Tailor systems to meet requirements using available application tools.
• Build and configure systems to meet requirements and document builds.
• Develop test scenarios and execute testing; resolve issues and provide input to implementation plans.
• Provide after-hours support during application events and on-call rotations.
• Lead small to medium projects with oversight and drive enhancements to current functionality.
