Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a specialist to configure, roll out, and support Epic Beaker applications, performing business and systems analysis, requirements definition, and documentation.

You will design, build, test, and implement Epic workflows, guide end-users to maximize Epic usage, and manage small to mid-size projects with timely stakeholder updates. A minimum of 3 years in Epic module administration and an Epic Application Certification within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels of complexity
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks
• 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Configuring, rolling out, and supporting Epic Beaker applications.
• Performs and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience.
• Supports and maintains environments or applications using domain knowledge.
• Creates and maintains documentation and training materials regarding the implementation of applications.
• Using knowledge of Epic, configures changes within the Epic environments to provide standardized, comprehensive workflows.
• Provides guidance and support to end-users to enhance the use of Epic, and offers solutions to resolve end-user system issues.
• Contributes to and manages small to medium projects independently.
• Updates stakeholders as appropriate on progress on assigned tasks, projects, and issues.
