Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Epic Beaker specialist responsible for configuring, rolling out, and supporting Epic Beaker applications. The role includes business and systems analysis, requirements documentation, and ensuring standardized workflows across environments.

You will perform workflow analysis, provide end-user guidance, and manage small to mid-size projects. A bachelor’s degree and Epic certifications within 6 months are preferred, with 3 years of Epic module admin experience;

Qualifications

• 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
• Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels of complexity
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks
• 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Configure, roll out, and support Epic Beaker applications.
• Perform workflow analysis while evaluating user experience.
• Document requirements, design, and testing; build and implement solutions.
• Provide end-user guidance and support to enhance Epic use and resolve issues.
• Manage small to medium projects and update stakeholders on progress.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve problems.
