Advocate Health seeks an IT professional to map and optimize Epic-related clinical and business processes from a fully remote location in the United States. The role includes on-call duties and requires collaboration with clinicians and IT staff to ensure successful implementations and upgrades.

You will develop test plans, train users, and maintain comprehensive documentation while supporting multiple Epic applications.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required, plus relevant IT/clinical work experience.
• Typically 3 years in IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis and documentation.
• Experience with Epic and other healthcare applications is preferred.
• Project management experience and ability to work with minimal supervision are expected.

Mansioni

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes using industry standards and best practices.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and data models for discussion and analysis.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans and scripts.
• Conduct unit, integration, system and end-user acceptance testing and document outcomes.
• Provide client and train users with materials and trainers for the project.
• Explain application functionality to users and assist with usage of full features and process flow.
• Develop and maintain product documentation including workflows, specs, installation instructions and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Communicate project status to clinic users and manage application version upgrades.
• Assist with support and troubleshooting as needed.
