Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar projects nationwide. The role requires traveling to jobsites and collaborating with engineering, procurement, PM, and field teams to ensure on-time, profitable completion.

The ideal candidate will have a CPM-based scheduling background, experience with P6 Software, and strong English communication skills. This is a fully remote role with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in engineering, construction management or architecture.
• 3+ years in project engineering or related scheduling role.
• Experience scheduling for HV/substation or electrical EPC projects.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and field coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar projects.
• Plan projects by reviewing contracts, drawings and exhibits to form schedules.
• Create and maintain activity durations; manage trackers and weather data.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM, and field teams for feedback.
• Incorporate updates monthly; monitor critical path and propose corrective actions.
• Attend project meetings to resolve schedule issues and provide status updates.
• Visit jobsites to support scheduling and data collection.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions and dates.
• Maintain SOLV P6 system and code structures for projects.
