Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar and related projects. This fully remote role requires travel to jobsites within the region to lead schedule development and updates.

You will work with engineers, procurement, PMs and field teams to ensure realistic durations, CPM logic, and timely project completion. Prior scheduling in EPC environments and strong P6 skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Scheduling experience for HV/substations or electrical projects.
• EPC environment scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 software.
• Knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• CPM scheduling experience.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Plan projects by analyzing documents, drawings, contracts for schedule basis.
• Perform quantity take-offs to estimate durations and maintain trackers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM and field management.
• Seek stakeholder feedback to improve schedule buy-in and accuracy.
• Ensure realistic durations and CPM logic in schedules.
• Attend project meetings to track issues and updates.
• Update schedules at least twice monthly with actuals.
• Communicate updates and maintain schedule reports.
• Maintain delay log and NOAA weather comparisons.
• Perform what-if analyses and schedule change considerations.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures.
• Visit jobsites as needed.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
• Maintain SOLV P6 database and activity codes.
