Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar projects on a national portfolio. The role involves travel to jobsites and coordination with multiple units including battery storage and high voltage.

The successful candidate will work fully remotely, using P6 to produce and update schedules, analyze what-if scenarios, and ensure realistic durations with CPM best practices. Strong English communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling for HV, Substations, or electrical projects.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 Software required.
• Construction-related scheduling experience - CPM.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Plan the project by analyzing documents, designs, contracts and exhibits for scheduling basis.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations and maintain files.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM and field management for feedback.
• Seek feedback from stakeholders to increase buy-in and accuracy of the schedule.
• Ensure sound logic and realistic durations using CPM best practices.
• Attend project meetings to understand issues and updates.
• Update schedule at least twice a month and monitor critical path deviations.
• Communicate schedule updates to the team and maintain reports.
• Maintain delay log documenting delays from development to completion.
• Record weather delays in P6 and compare to NOAA data monthly.
• Perform schedule analysis for what-if, change orders and claims.
• Train field personnel in scheduling procedures and support project teams.
• Visit jobsites as needed to support scheduling.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
• Assist in maintaining SOLV P6 database with codes and notes.
• Support reporting while maintaining core schedule structure.
• Perform other duties assigned by the senior scheduler.
