Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV solar projects. The role involves travel to regional jobsites and coordination with multiple business units, with a fully remote work arrangement during interview discussions.

Qualified candidates have a degree in engineering/construction management, 3+ years in project scheduling for HV/substations, and proficiency with P6

Qualifications

• Engineering/Construction Management or Architecture degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling for HV/ Substations or other electrical projects.
• Prior scheduling experience in an EPC environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 Software required.
• Knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path Method.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 software to develop and maintain EPC project schedules based on realistic execution plans.
• Assist in planning the project by analyzing documents, drawings, contracts to form the EPC schedule.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish durations and maintain files.
