Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Solutions Engineer (SE) to join a trusted advisor role on a pre-sales team for top enterprise customers in the New England area.

You will design and configure Cisco solutions to meet customer needs, demonstrate value, and help shape architecture across product families. Location is remote for New England-based candidates with regular travel to Northeast customers; you will collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SEs to present

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or client-facing consulting roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• You will be a member of a customer Account Team in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions-setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers—and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
• You will be working towards our common goals and demonstrating the business value of Cisco Services, Solutions, and Architectures by aligning opportunities with customer challenges and priorities.
• You will gain access to the palette of Cisco technologies and applications in the financial services industry.
• You will collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Architects, and other SE’s as a team to present solutions and support overall architecture development customized for our largest global customers.
• You will act in an increasingly consultative fashion and looked to as trusted technical adviser, in your field by the account team and customers.
• You will keep up-to-date on relevant competitors’ solutions, products and services.
• You will assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
