Job summary

NetApp is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to serve as the trusted technical advisor across a diverse enterprise territory. You will partner with two Enterprise Client Executives to develop account strategy, uncover opportunities, and drive customer engagements that deliver measurable business value.

Balancing technical breadth with commercial acumen, you’ll support a broad portfolio of enterprise customers, identify new workloads, and collaborate with channel partners and NetApp

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or Solution Consulting in an enterprise tech environment.
• Proven success supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex technology sales cycles.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, storage or storage-adjacent tech.
• Broad knowledge across storage, virtualization, backup, DR, hybrid cloud, and modern data centers.
• Experience designing and positioning technical solutions to meet business objectives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills translating tech into business value.
• Experience managing multiple opportunities across sales cycle stages.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders and business decision-makers.
• Experience collaborating with channel partners to deliver customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with two Enterprise Client Executives to develop territory strategy and execute customer engagements.
• Lead consultative discovery sessions to uncover business initiatives and technical challenges.
• Design and position solutions across the NetApp portfolio aligned to customer outcomes.
• Support a broad mix of enterprise customers and balance existing accounts with new opportunities.
• Build relationships with enterprise architects, infrastructure leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue protect-and-expand opportunities and whitespace in accounts.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and proofs-of-concept throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint strategies and accelerate customer success.
