Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptions across cyber, IT, and business operations.

You will partner with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity teams to define recovery priorities, validate objectives, and drive improvements. The role emphasizes hands-on program development, governance, and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant IT program management experience.
• Minimum several years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, DR or BC.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business actions and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map Critical Business Services and recovery requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and document resilience assessments and drills.
• Track findings, owners, and deadlines through closure; escalate gaps.
• Develop dashboards and executive reporting on recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with Cyber, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Ops teams.
