Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional in the United States to strengthen our ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from disruptions across cyber, technology, and operations. The role links technical recoverability with business continuity, collaborating with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and vendor management to drive measurable improvements.

The position is hands-on, requiring the ability to bridge technical detail with business outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in IT program/project management.
• 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, or related fields.
• Experience planning disaster recovery tests and tabletop exercises.
• Ability to connect technical recovery capabilities to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support development and improvement of the Enterprise Resilience Program, including governance and reporting.
• Identify Critical Business Services and map required people, processes, tech, data, facilities, and third parties.
• Define and validate impact tolerances, RTOs, RPOs, and recovery priorities with business owners.
• Plan and document resilience assessments, tabletop exercises, DR tests, and simulations.
• Track findings and escalate material gaps; drive actions to closure.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities with Rubrik, Azure, SQL, and Veeam.
• Promote isolation, immutable storage, and secure restoration practices.
• Develop recovery environment and automate restoration testing.
