Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to cyber, technology, operational, and third‑party disruptions. You will partner with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity teams to establish resilience requirements and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CRISC, or Microsoft Azure certifications.
• 3+ years in IT program/project management; 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, infrastructure, information security, risk management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map Critical Business Services with required people, processes, tech, data, facilities, and third parties.
• Define impact tolerances, recovery objectives, minimum service levels, and recovery priorities with owners.
• Plan, coordinate, and document resilience assessments, DR tests, tabletop exercises, and simulations.
• Track findings, risks, decisions, owners, due dates, and corrective actions through closure; escalate gaps.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities (Rubrik, Azure, SQL, Veeam); support immutable backups and secure restoration workflows.
• Develop, mature isolated recovery environments and automate restoration testing.
• Participate in DR exercises with multiple teams to validate recoverability.
• Coordinate cyber/business tabletop exercises to test decisions, comms, and recovery actions.
• Support containment, response, and recovery during disruptive events; document key decisions.
• Assess third‑party resilience and reporting dashboards for executive visibility.
