Sentara Health is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions across cyber, technology, and operations. The role partners with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Emergency Management, and vendor management to establish resilience standards and drive improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CRISC, or Microsoft Azure certifications.

Responsabilités

• Identify and map Critical Business Services and required resources.
• Define and validate impact tolerances, recovery objectives, minimum service levels, and priorities.
• Plan and document resilience assessments, business impact analyses, and disaster recovery tests.
• Track findings, risks, owners, due dates, and corrective actions through closure; escalate gaps.
• Enhance backup and recovery capabilities using Rubrik, Azure, SQL, and Veeam.
• Improve ransomware-resilient recovery with immutable backups and secure restoration workflows.
• Build and mature isolated recovery environments and automate restoration testing.
• Coordinate tabletop exercises to test decision-making and recovery actions.
• Support containment, response, and recovery during disruptive events with cross-team coordination.
• Assess third-party resilience and recovery commitments; document evidence and dependencies.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and executive-ready reporting on recovery readiness and resilience maturity.
• Create repeatable processes and clear documentation to reduce manual effort.
