Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions across cyber, technology, and third‑party risks.

You will partner with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and vendors to mature resilience programs, run tabletop exercises, validate recovery objectives, and deliver executive dashboards that show readiness and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in IT program/project management.
• 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and improvement of the Enterprise Resilience Program.
• Identify and maintain Critical Business Services and map required resources.
• Define and validate impact tolerances, recovery time objectives, and recovery point objectives.
• Plan, coordinate, and document resilience assessments and disaster recovery tests.
• Track findings, risks, decisions, owners, due dates, and corrective actions to closure.
• Enhance backup and recovery capabilities using Rubrik, Azure, SQL, and Veeam.
• Build an isolated recovery environment and automate restoration testing.
• Coordinate tabletop exercises to test decision-making and recovery actions.
• Conduct after-action reviews and convert lessons learned into improvements.
